How big is the HIHUHEN desk mat?

The title and the colour option give 80 by 30cm and 3mm thick. The details table on the same listing says 3000 by 800mm, which looks like an error, so check the 80x30 Black option is selected.

Can you wash the HIHUHEN desk mat?

Yes. The listing describes the surface as washable and its description says it can go in the washing machine.

Is the HIHUHEN desk mat plain black?

The 80x30 Black option is sold as black, but the details table names a map-of-the-world theme. Several other options on the same listing have pattern names rather than colours, so check the picture of the option you choose.

Home Office A long black cloth desk mat with stitched edges, wide enough for a keyboard and a mouse side by side

HIHUHEN 80x30cm desk mat

Name: HIHUHEN Gaming Desk Mat, 80 x 30cm, Black
Brand: HIHUHEN
SKU: B082MP4NCM

One mat under the keyboard and the mouse, so the desk stops getting scuffed and the mouse stops running off the edge.

A black cloth desk mat 80cm long, 30cm deep and 3mm thick, with stitched edges, a rubber underside that grips the desk, and a surface you can wash.

The one catchThe listing contradicts itself: the title and colour option say 80 by 30cm plain black, but the details table gives 3000 by 800mm and a map-of-the-world theme. Make sure the 80x30 Black option is the one selected

Is it worth it?

Yes, as the small present that gets used every evening. The HIHUHEN desk mat covers 80 by 30cm in plain black cloth, its edges are stitched so they do not peel, and the rubber back holds it still on the desk. The catch is that the listing's own details table disagrees with its title: it gives the size as 3000 by 800mm and the theme as a map of the world, while the title and the colour option say an 80 by 30cm black mat. Check the size option reads 80x30 Black before buying. It is also sold by a third party, though Amazon dispatches it.

Is it for you?

Get it if

A brother whose mouse runs off the edge of a small mouse pad
A desk that is getting scratched under the keyboard
A small, cheap present that sits alongside something bigger

Skip it if

A desk deeper than about 40cm that he wants covered edge to edge: 30cm is a strip, not a full cover
Anyone who wants a printed or colourful mat
A brother who already has a big mat

The honest read

What wins you over

80 by 30cm, long enough for a full keyboard and a mouse side by side
Stitched edges, so the cloth does not lift at the corners
A rubber underside that grips the desk
Washable, by the listing, and dispatched by Amazon

How we checked this · Researched, not handled · Oct 2026

Researched from the Amazon UK listing and the other sources listed here. We have not handled this product. The catch comes from the Amazon UK listing (15 October 2026).

Size (800 by 300mm), thickness (3mm), the stitched edges, the cloth top, the rubber base, the washable surface and the weight (510g) taken from the Amazon UK listing for the 80x30 Black option, checked 15 October 2026.
The catch is on the listing itself: its details table gives the size as 3000L by 800W mm and the theme as Map of the World, which do not match the title or the selected colour option.
