Is it worth it?
Yes, if the aim is to warm one person rather than a whole room. The Cosi Home heated throw puts ten heat settings and a timer on a remote that unclips, so the throw itself can go in the washing machine, and the listing states overheat protection and an automatic cut-off. Check there is a socket beside the sofa first.
Is it for you?
- Evenings on the sofa in a room you would rather not heat
- A present for someone who is always cold
- Anyone who wants a heated throw that machine washes
- A sofa with no socket nearby — it runs from the mains and the listing does not give the cable length
- Two people sharing: at 160 x 130cm it is generous for one
- Anyone who wants wool or cotton — this is microfleece
The honest read
